Set on the plains that come from the Santa Ana volcano, “The Golden Grain” is our smallest farm at only 35 acres or 14 hectares. Don’t let its small size fool you, this plot has consistently delivered marvelous coffee, for decades; some of the trees in this plantation are over 30 years old. We have refused to involve this farm in a wide renovation project because of how good the old trees perform. This plot is in its majority Bourbon with some small batches of Pacas. Our Roasters have found the coffee from Grano De Oro to be a great addition to our espresso blends, increasing the body and creating a longer pleasing after taste.
